Contact Life Line is a confidential helpline serving all people in Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, and Moore Counties. These services include confidential listening, caring intervention, daily reassurance calls to elderly or homebound persons, teen volunteers manning a teen helpline, and Contact Bear, a service providing latchkey and other children with a caring adult to talk to when other adults are not available. Other services include Information and Referral telephone numbers with professional support workers on call 24 hours when necessary. The Mobile Crisis Team supports these volunteers when suicidal or seriously mentally ill persons require more immediate attention from a professional. Programs include: Crisis Intervention, Teen 2 Teen.
