Description: The mission of the Crisis Intervention Center is to prevent suicide and to empower individuals to face life challenges and meet basic and emergency needs. The center offers telephone counseling 24 hours/7 days free of charge; grief and loss support groups; community outreach and education; and statewide advocacy services for TennCare enrollees. Programs Include: Crisis Services, Outreach Services, Sudden Loss Program, Surviors of Suicide Program, TennCare Consumer Advocacy Program, TennCare Consumer Advocacy Program - 2 for children in state custody, those who use a TTY, and refugees who speak Arabic, Kurdish, Bosnian, or Somali.
