The primary goal of crsis intervention is to respond as quickly as possible to serious mental health crisis in order to facilitate an appropriate and safe resolution. Crisis services are preformed by mental healthcare providers who respond to mental health emergencies at sites throughout the community including residences, hospitals, emergency departments, public places, etc. |
