The EAP offers a proven cost-effective way to address a wide range of employee problems associated with family, emotions, stress, marriage, substance abuse, finances, and relationships that impact job performance, increase workplace efficiency and productivity and decrease absenteeism and sick days. The EAP provides employees at all levels of participating employers' organizations with a professional assessment, short-term counseling, and a referral service. The program currently services more than 100 companies in 18 East Tennessee counties. Overall, the objective is to identify and treat personal or job-related problems that affect job performance and productivity. |
