Low interest loans for home repairs, weatherization assistance for homes, misdemeanor probations, violence intervention services. Homemaker services include teaching parenting skills and appropriate discipline techniques, child development and age appropriate expectation of children. Home management skills include teaching consumer education, assistance with budgeting and bill paying, household organization and cleaning, nutrition and meal preparation. Homemakers also provide support and assistance to elderly and/or handicapped adults with services that enable them to prolong their independence. Transportation Assistance available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost is $3.00 round-trip with $1.50 extra per county line crossed. Additional stops are $1.00.
